Dock Bumpers that Rotate

Boat with WhamGuard Rotating Bumpers

WhamGuard rotating bumpers provide protection for both the boat and dock

Boat dock bumpers have been around for a long time and have taken on many different form.  However, WhamGuard Rotating Bumpers have take boat and dock protection to a whole new level.

Shortcomings of Traditional Vertical Rollers

One of the common complaints or issues with traditional vertical dock rollers is they are very inefficient and can also be very expensive.  First of all, the design wastes a lot of material.  More importantly though, the vertical post bumpers or “rollers” tend to warp over time which makes the vertical bumpers really unstable.  That’s a lot of money (usually $750 or more) to spend on something that sort of works.

What Makes WhamGuard so Special?

One of the important factors that went into the development of the WhamGuard Rotating Bumpers was that the design needed to be simple.  It also needed to work.  Every time.  Wes Hamilton, inventor of the WhamGuard, spent countless seasons on the lake trying to install those wonky vertical boat dock rollers.  They were heavy.  Often took more than one person to in stall and overall were frustratingly ineffective.  He knew there had to be a better way,

How Does it Work?

The bumpers are super easy to install.  This is if you want to be able to move them and position them exactly where they are needed.  Also, it’s a one man job!  You can do it yourself in about 10 minutes or less.  If one of the parts falls in the water, guess what?  They float too.
