These bumpers could better be described as boat dock rollers.  They provide boat dock protection by spinning or rolling when a boat runs into them.  Therefore, the boat is protected from damage by the dock post and the dock post is protected from damage by the boat.  Definitely a win/win.  The best way to understand how they work is watch this video:  click here.

What do I Need to Know?

There are several things you will need to know before ordering your WhamGuard.  First, you will want to know what size post you are planning to install the WhamGuard Rotating Boat Dock Bumper on.  The middle bushing is made to fit three post sizes:  a 2″ square, 2″ round, or 2.5″ square post.  You will want to measure the post before ordering to make sure you get the right size.

WhamGuard Rotating Boat Dock Bumpers are easy to install. The bushing attaches to the post. This is where you want to measure to make sure you get the right size.

What a Great Idea!

WhamGuard Rotating Boat Dock Bumpers are truly boat AND dock protection.  These boat dock rollers protect your boat by keeping it off the post when launching and docking.  But they also protect the post.  A common bumper are simply called post bumpers and they are installed by bolting them to the post.  The only problem with that is any time you drill into the steel, you weaken the steel.  Maybe not a huge concern under normal operating conditions, but in Oklahoma we get some crazy storms. Steel is much easier to damage if there are holes in it.

Something Else to Consider

Because WhamGuard Rotating Boat Dock Bumpers are installed without adding extra steel attachments to the post, the are super easy to install.  Most of the time it takes one person less than 10 minutes to install each bumper.  If you would like to start letting WhamGuard provide you with boat and dock protection, you can order by clicking here:  Order now.
